Two California Film Festivals To Screen Running Club Documentary

Two film festivals - the Golden Gate International Film Festival and the San Francisco New Concept Film Festival - have selected “The Boston Bulldogs” as a feature film documentary to be screened at their upcoming events (Oct. 27 in San Francisco and Nov. 7-9 in San Jose). Both festivals will announce the winners at their festivals. The film, the first from Jack and Bryan Cote chronicling the story of five runners from a club helping people with sobriety and mental health, will be up for awards including best short documentary film and best documentary by a first time filmmaker. The film is one of 14 San Francisco festival nominees in the feature documentary category. The festival released the trailers here. Tickets are available for those interested in attending.
