Magnetic Therapy For PTSD

The FDA has cleared a treatment for patients suffering from post traumatic stress. Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy was developed by Wave Neuroscience in partnership with Texas A&M University. It uses an EEG (electro-encephalogram) to map a patient’s brain electrical activity, then it customizes repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation to target brain circuits that might not be working. The company’s clinical trials have been promising, showing a reduction in patient symptoms, less remission or relapse.
